After Andre Flakes recovered a Massachusett's fourth-quarter fumble on a kick off, Silvers passed to wide receiver John Johnson, who then hit Trevaris McCormick on a 16-yard TD strike for a 38-24 lead. Troy scored back-to-back TDs when Silvers hit Flakes on a 12-yard TD pass and Blace Brown picked off a pass, setting up a 7-yard TD run by Sawyer Smith.

Appalachian State 35, Texas State 10
BOONE, N.C. (AP) Taylor Lamb threw four touchdown passes while Jalin Moore and Marcus Cox combined to rush for 248 yards on 28 carries and a score as Appalachian State routed Texas State 35-10 on Saturday.
Lamb threw touchdowns of 8-, 31-, 6-, and 3-yards to Jaylan Barbour, Jaquil Capel, Mock Adams, and Barrett Burns, respectively. His TD pass to Adams gave Appalachian State (7-2, 5-0 Sun Belt) a 25-point lead at the half.
Moore caught 13 passes for 130 yards and Cox had 15 receptions for 118 yards.
Texas State (2-6, 0-4) led just once, on a 25-yard field goal by Marcus Ripley with 9:38 left in the first quarter.
The Mountaineers have outscored their opponents 147-39 in their last five conference games. Appalachian State travels to play Troy (7-1, 4-0) next.

Ole Miss 37, Georgia Southern 27
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) There was only one goal Saturday for the Mississippi Rebels and head coach Hugh Freeze.
''Our goal was to be 1-0 after this game. Goal accomplished,'' Freeze said after the Rebels snapped a three-game losing streak with a 37-27 win over Georgia Southern.
The win didn't come easily for the Rebels (4-5, 1-4 Southeastern Conference), who were forced to overcome a 21-10 deficit after the opening 20 minutes. Quarterback Chad Kelly, who accounted for 249 yards of total offense and three touchdowns, hobbled off in the third quarter, favoring his right knee and ankle.
Kelly, 16 of 23 for 233 yards passing, remained in the bench area in the fourth quarter and left the field without assistance after the game. He did not appear at the post-game press conference.
Kelly was the decisive factor in leading three consecutive touchdown drives in the final 10 minutes of the first half. Kelly capped the drives with scoring runs of 3 and 5 yards and a 38-yard touchdown pass to Evan Engram.
Akeem Judd rushed for a season-high 139 yards on 26 carries with a 9-yard touchdown run. Gary Wunderlich added field goals of 35, 29 and 38 yards as the Rebels had 441 yards of total offense.
Freeze has spent most of the season watching the Rebels build big leads, only to see them disappear in the second half. Georgia Southern (4-5, 3-2 Sun Belt Conference) reversed the pattern, racing to the early lead before the Rebels rallied to gain control.
Kevin Ellison connected with Myles Campbell on a 29-yard scoring pass before adding a 9-yard touchdown run. Campbell led all receivers with 121 yards on four receptions. Matt Breida scored on a 68-yard touchdown run to cap the early offensive outburst.
Georgia Southern dropped their fifth game in the last six starts despite 401 yards of total offense. The option-based Eagles rushed for 267 yards, highlighted by Breida with 100 yards on 22 carries, but managed only two field goals in the second half.
''There are no moral victories by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think what you saw today was a vast improvement over the last time we played,'' Georgia Southern coach Tyson Summers said. ''I thought Kevin (Ellison) did a nice job managing the game through it all.''
Idaho 23, UL Lafayette 13
LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) Isaiah Saunders punched in the go-ahead touchdown, Austin Rehkow drilled a 50-yard field goal and Idaho rolled to a 23-13 win over UL Lafayette on Saturday night.
Tied at 10 in the second quarter, Saunders capped a 10-play, 51-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run to put Idaho (5-4, 3-2 Sun Belt Conference) on top for good. He finished with 86 yards on 21 carries and had five catches for 55 yards.
UL Lafayette (3-5, 2-3) cut the margin to 17-13 with a 29-yard field goal by Stevie Artigue but it was all Idaho the rest of the way in a game with no turnovers.
Rehkow, who had a 29-yard field goal in the first quarter, kicked the 50-yarder late in the third quarter and padded the Vandals' advantage again with a 44-yarder midway through the fourth.
Matt Linehan was 20 of 30 for 227 yards passing for Idaho. Anthony Jennings completed 17 of his 30 passes for 161 yards for UL Lafayette.
UL Monroe 42, South Alabama 35 (OT)
MONROE, La. (AP) Caleb Evans threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns, including a 7-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Green in overtime to lift UL Monroe to a 42-35 victory over South Alabama on Saturday night.
UL Monroe (3-6, 2-3 Sun Belt Conference) had the first possession of overtime. The Warhawks' Cortez Sisco Jr. sacked Dallas Davis on a fourth-and-12 to end the game.
Evans was 26-of-38 passing and connected with Rj Turner and Xavier Brown for scores. Thomas Koufie ran for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give Louisiana-Monroe a 35-28 lead with about four minutes left.
Dami Ayoola scored on a 14-yard touchdown run for the Jaguars to tie it at 35-35. The Warhawks then drove to the South Alabama 39 when Chris Henderson intercepted Evans and ran to the UL Monroe 33-yard line with five seconds left. But Sisco blocked Gavin Patterson's 50-yard field goal attempt as time expired to force overtime.
