ATLANTA – Georgia State men’s soccer earned its second straight victory with a 2-1 win over Gardner-Webb Tuesday night at the GSU Soccer Complex, getting the game-winning goal from Aris Briggs in the 75th minute. The win bumped the Panthers to 8-4-1 on the year and dropped Gardner-Webb to 3-8-1 overall. Tuesday’s victory improved Georgia State to 5-2 at home this season and was GSU’s seventh victory in eight meetings with the Runnin’ Bulldogs.?
Coastal Carolina 1, Clemson 0
CLEMSON, S.C. – For the second time in less than a year, Coastal Carolina's men's soccer team went into Clemson and defeated the Tigers. The 1-0 victory for the Chanticleers was CCU's sixth win of the season. The only goal scored came in the 24th minute when Yazeed Matthews got in the box and took a pass from Tyrone Mondi to score what turned out to be the match-winner.
Georgia Southern 1, UAB 1 (F/2OT)
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Georgia Southern men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at UAB in the final non-conference contest of the 2018 regular season for the Eagles on Tuesday evening at BBVA Compass Field in Birmingham, Ala. The Eagles (5-5-2) earned a draw with the Blazers (5-6-3) for just the second time in five meetings with UAB.

BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men's soccer (7-3-3) and Elon (4-7-1) fought to a 0-0 tie in a defensive showdown on Wednesday evening at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. Appalachian earns its sixth shutout of the season, which ties for the most since 2015 and the most since overall since 2012. In addition, App stays unblemished at home with a 3-0-2 mark and has blanked its opponents in four straight home contests.
