Texas 65, ULM 55
AUSTIN, Texas – Monday night was the latest example of Texas head coach Shaka Smart's work in progress: a 65-55 win over scrappy ULM that Texas didn't control until midway through the second half. Texas (3-0) led 30-29 at halftime and the game was tied at 43 until Mitrou-Long, a transfer guard from Mount St. Mary's, knocked down his 3-pointer to beat the shot clock. Dylan Osetkowski's reverse layup and free throw put Texas up by 10 and the Longhorns were finally in firm control.
