Yazeed Matthews, Coastal Carolina (Sr., F, Johannesburg, South Africa)
Coastal Carolina senior forward Yazeed Matthews continued his play as one of the hottest players in the nation with two goals in the Chanticleers’ regular-season finale against Georgia Southern. Matthews has scored goals in seven-consecutive matches and netted two goals in each of his last four matches. Over that stretch, he has scored 11 goals and 24 points (11 goals, 2 assists). Matthews is tied for tops in the Sun Belt in goals (13) and points (29). For his efforts, he was named to the National Team of the Week by College Soccer News.

Paul Odendahl, Coastal Carolina (Jr., D, Meerbusch, Germany)
Coastal Carolina junior defender Paul played a major role in the Chanticleers’ win over Georgia Southern. Odendahl helped hold the Sun Belt’s top offense to only one goal and contributed on the offensive end as well with his first assist of the season.
