 – Appalachian State men's basketball held a 47-19 edge in bench scoring en route to a 82-73 victory over North Carolina Central on Saturday afternoon.The victory improves the Mountaineers (4-5) to a perfect 4-0 at home this season and extends their home non-conference winning streak to 11 games.?

Minnesota 72, Arkansas State 56
MINNEAPOLIS
– Minnesota opened the game on a 21-2 run and the Arkansas State men’s basketball team was unable to recover in a 72-56 loss to the Golden Gophers Saturday afternoon at Williams Arena. Ty Cockfield II had a game-high 20 points, his fifth-straight 20-point outing and seventh of the season. With five-straight 20-point outings, Cockfield is first A-State player to accomplish such a feat since J.J. Montgomery had seven-straight 20-point outings during the 2003-04 season. 

Georgia Southern 89, Mercer 74
MACON, Ga.
– Ike Smith tallied a season-high 24 points, including 18 in the second half, and Georgia Southern made a season best 10 3-pointers to post an 89-74 men's basketball victory over Mercer Saturday afternoon in Hawkins Arena.

South Alabama 81, Tulane 60
MOBILE, Ala.
– Senior Rodrick Sikes scored a team-high 21 points and junior Josh Ajayi added a double-double to lead the University of South Alabama men's basketball team to an 81-60 win victory against Tulane Saturday afternoon at the Mitchell Center.

Texas State 90, Houston Baptist 80
SAN MARCOS, Texas – Freshman Alonzo Sule recorded his first double-double and five players scored in double figures as the Texas State men’s basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat Houston Baptist 90-80 in Strahan Arena on Saturday afternoon. Sule came off the bench to record career-highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bobcats. Four other Bobcats scored in double figures as Nijal Pearson netted 14 points, Alex Peacock scored 11, while Tre’Larenz Nottingham and Jaylen Shead added 10 points each.

North Texas 63, UTA 61
DENTON, Texas
– Facing a team on its home floor which is receiving votes in the national polls, the UTA men's basketball team (3-7) led for the majority of the game, but a late run by North Texas (10-1) and a last-second shot from the Mavericks which just rolled off the rim produced a 63-61 victory for the Mean Green Saturday at The Super Pit.

Central Arkansas 85, Little Rock 82
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.
– Little Rock rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half and led Central Arkansas by five with just over a minute to go. But the Bears closed out the game on an 8-0 run, capped by a game-winning three from DeAndre Jones from well beyond the three-point arc, handing the Trojans a heartbreaking 85-82 loss at the Jack Stephens Center.

Wofford 82, Coastal Carolina 71

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Sophomore Tre Brown had a career and team-best 24 points, but it was not enough as Coastal Carolina fell 82-71 to Wofford.
