South Alabama senior Ashley Heitling claimed the 3,000-meter run title at the Jaguar Invitational, crossing the line in a season-best time of 10:09.56 to win the race by more than 12 seconds. Heitling's time ranks fifth in the Sun Belt so far this season.

Track - Kylah Smith, Texas State (Jr., Lancaster, Texas)
Texas State junior Kylah Smith took over the Sun Belt's top time in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 8.47 in the preliminary round at the Jaguar Invitational. Smith's time also ranks in the top 10 in school history. She ran an 8.53 to claim second place and was the fastest collegiate runner in the finals of the event. Smith also competed in the long jump and finished fourth with a mark of 5.65m (18-6.5), which ties for the ninth-best mark in the conference this season.

Field - Alexus Henry, UTA (Jr., Bridge City, Texas)
UTA junior Alexus Henry set a school record in the indoor high jump with a clearance of 1.86m (6-1.25) during the pentathlon at the Charlie Thomas Invitational hosted by Texas A&M. Henry's mark ranks third nationally and is the best in the Sun Belt this season by 2.5 inches. She is the first woman in school history to clear six feet (indoor or outdoor) and is one of just 13 women in the nation to reach that mark in 2018. Henry finished sixth in the pentathlon with 3,249 points, which is the conference's seventh-best total this season, despite having to drop out of the final event (800-meter run).
