Yu Fujioka, South Alabama (Fr., Funabashi, Japan)
South Alabama freshman Yu Fujioka went 2-0 in both singles and doubles as the Jaguars split a pair of matches. In singles, Fujioka scored victories at the No. 3 position, defeating Middle Tennessee's Kim Kermet 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, and Xavier's Lauren Ghidotti 6-4, 6-1. In doubles, she partnered with junior Alexandria Stiteler at No. 2 for a 6-3 win over Middle Tennessee and clinched the doubles point against Xavier with a 7-6 (7-5) victory.

For the spring season, Fujioka is 20-0 in singles and 11-5 in doubles. She currently has the best overall dual win percentage (20-0, 1.000) and win percentage (13-0, 1.000) at No. 3 singles in school history.
