INDIANAPOLIS – South Alabama received its postseason destination and opponent as the Jaguars are headed to Starkville, Miss. to take on Memphis in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championships.
 
South Alabama and Memphis meet on Friday, May 11 at 10:00 AM CT at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. The host and sixth-seeded Bulldogs take on Tennessee Tech in the other first-round matchup at 1:00 PM. The winners of the opening-round matches face each other on Saturday, May 12 at 1:00 PM CT for a chance to advance to the Round of 16 and compete for the national championship May 17-22 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, N.C.
 
The Jaguars are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2008 and officially 11th overall appearance (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2018).
