AROUND #SUNBELTTEN
• Sun Belt women’s tennis has a light start to its spring dual match schedule with only Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State and Louisiana in action this weekend.
 
• For the first time, Sun Belt women's tennis will play a full conference schedule to determine the regular-season champion and seeds for the Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Championship.
 
• Georgia Southern opened the spring slate for the Sun Belt with a 7-0 victory over Morgan State on Jan. 13. Freshmen Luisa Hrda and Elizabeth Goines earned their first colligate singles victories for the Eagles in the win.
 
• In the final fall Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Women’s National Rankings, Georgia State freshman Eva Chivu (123rd) and UTA sophomore Momoka Horiguchi (124th) were ranked in singles.
 
• The 2019 Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Championship is set for April 18-21 at Peachtree City Tennis Center in Peachtree City, Ga.
