MONROE, La. – The ULM Warhawks were swept by I-20 rival Louisiana Tech Tuesday night, falling 3-0 at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. Louisiana Tech (11-4, 1-0 Conference USA) jumped out to a quick lead in set one before a Kate Blasingame kill put ULM (9-8, 0-2 Sun Belt) back on the right track. A kill by Alix Christie brought the Warhawks back within four. The Lady Techsters pulled away again before the Warhawks found a rhythm and a kill from Lauren Appelman put ULM in the lead, 24-23. However, Louisiana Tech wasn't phased and won set one, 26-24.
