JONESBORO, Ark. – Emma Longley and Sam Bickley each posted double-doubles as Appalachian State remained perfect in Sun Belt play with a 3-1 (27-25, 26-24, 17-25, 25-15) victory at Arkansas State on Friday evening. The Mountaineers are now 9-9 on the season and are just one of two unbeaten teams left in Sun Belt play along with Coastal Carolina. The Black and Gold's 5-0 start in conference play is its best since the 2015 season, when the Mountaineers won their first 13 conference matches.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Coastal Carolina earned its fifth-straight win (3-0) on Friday night as they defeated the Little Rock Trojans by the score of 25-9, 25-22, and 25-15. The Chanticleers improve to 15-2 overall and 5-0 in the Sun Belt Conference behind sophomore Anett Nemeth's 15 kills and a season-high nine team services aces.
UTA 3, Georgia Southern 0
ARLINGTON, Texas – UTA picked up another conference win by sweeping Georgia Southern 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-17) on Friday inside College Park Center. With the win, the Mavs end a two-game skid and improve to 11-7 overall and 3-3 in Sun Belt action, while the Eagles fall to 6-10 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – In what was arguably its most sound night of volleyball this season, Texas State (13-7, 5-1 Sun Belt) registered its third consecutive sweep and eighth of the year by taking care of Georgia State (5-11, 1-4 Sun Belt) 25-10, 25-6, 25-17 Friday night at Strahan Arena.
South Alabama 3, Louisiana 1
MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama defeated Louisiana in four sets (25-18, 26-24, 14-25, 25-20) Friday in Sun Belt Conference action at Jag Gym. South Alabama (13-6, 4-1 Sun Belt) remained unbeaten at home with the win, extending its win streak in Jag Gym to 10 matches. The victory also marked the Jaguars' third straight win following consecutive wins at Georgia Southern (Oct. 5) and Southern Miss (Oct. 8).
Troy 3, ULM 1
TROY, Ala. – Troy improved to 4-1 in Sun Belt Conference play following a 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-18) victory over ULM Friday night in Trojan Arena. It was a total team effort as four Trojans finished with double-digit kill numbers.
