Texas State 3, ULM 0
MONROE, La. – Texas State (19-7, 11-1 Sun Belt) logged its 11th sweep of the season after surviving ULM (11-16, 1-10 Sun Belt) in straight sets, 25-22, 25-15, 26-24 Friday night at the Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Bobcats have now swept the season series vs. ULM for the seventh consecutive season and extends their 2019 winning streak to nine in a row.

Troy 3, Appalachian State 1
TROY, Ala. – Troy picked up a key divisional win over Appalachian State Friday night in Trojan Arena, 3-1 (27-29, 25-16, 25-17, 25-22). The Trojans have won 14-straight home matches dating back to last season, tied for the eighth-longest home win streak in the nation.

Little Rock 3, Georgia State 2
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – It was an instant classic at the Jack Stephens Center Friday night complete with a dramatic comeback, multiple career highs and a five-set thriller as Little Rock claimed the 3-2 victory over Georgia State.

Georgia Southern 3, Arkansas State 2
JONESBORO, Ark. – Carly Turner tallied a career-high 20 kills, and Georgia Southern rallied from a 2-0 deficit to top Arkansas State 3-2 (16-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-11) in Sun Belt Conference volleyball action Friday night in First National Bank Arena.

Coastal Carolina 3, South Alabama 2
MOBILE, Ala. – Coastal Carolina came from two sets down to retake possession of first-place in the Sun Belt East with a five-set win over South Alabama on Friday night at Jags Gym to move to 9-2 in conference play and 19-4 overall. Reigning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week Anett Nemeth had a match-high 21 kills to lead the Chanticleers.

UTA 3, Louisiana 2
LAFAYETTE, La. – In a slug fest between Sun Belt West Division foes, UTA used a late push in the fifth set to pull off a huge 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 27-29, 25-20, 15-11) comeback win over Louisiana at Earl K. Long Gym on Friday night. With the win, the Mavs took over second place in the SBC West Division and improved to 14-10 overall and 6-6 in conference play, while the Ragin' Cajuns fell to 9-15 on the season and 5-6 in league play.
