BOONE, N.C. – The 2019 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Championship final is set as No. 5 Georgia State and No. 2 Coastal Carolina picked up semifinal wins under the Friday night lights.

The championship continues on Sunday, Nov. 17 with the title match between the Panthers and Chanticleers at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Matt Stewart and Eddie Rodriguez are set to call the action from the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. Live statistics are available on SunBeltSports.org.

Georgia State and Coastal Carolina are meeting for the conference's NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship automatic bid for the third time in four years. The Chanticleers have prevailed in the previous two title tilts – 1-0 in 2016 and 2-0 in 2017.

Match 3 - No. 5 Georgia State 1, No. 1 Central Arkansas 0
No. 5 Georgia State stunned top-seeded Central Arkansas with a goal in the 76th minute to grab the 1-0 victory and advance to its fifth-straight Sun Belt Championship final.

The Bears outshot the Panthers 21-5 on shots and 5-2 on shots on goal but it was Georgia State senior defender Alex Summerfield slipping his rebound through the lower left side of the goal for the game-winner. The goal marked just the second of the season for Summerfield and the shutout marked a program-record eighth of the season for redshirt junior goalkeeper Paul Tyson.

Central Arkansas, entering the match with an RPI of 26, now plays the waiting game to see if its name is called as one of the 48 NCAA Tournament teams on Monday, Nov. 18 at Noon CT/1 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.

Match 4 - No. 2 Coastal Carolina 2, No. 6 Appalachian State 1
Freshmen scored all three goals in the second semifinal with the two from No. 2 Coastal Carolina coming from defender Kasper Skraep and forward Sam Snaith in the Chanticleers' 2-1 triumph over No. 6 Appalachian State.

Both of the Chanticleers' goals came in the first-half headers in the first 10 minutes of the match – Skraep's header came off a rebound in the sixth minute and Snaith's header came on a corner kick from senior defender Morten Timm in the 10th minute.

The score would remain 2-0 in favor of Coastal Carolina until the host Mountaineers cracked the scoreboard in the 77th minute on a header of their own. Freshman defender Myson Darden headed in a free kick from sophomore midfielder Dimitris Moraitakis to cut the lead in half.

Appalachian State pressed for a second scoring opportunity in the closing minutes, but the Chanticleers held on for the victory and another championship match date with Georgia State.
