Georgia State 28, South Alabama 15
ATLANTA – Georgia State won a regular-season record seventh game and topped South Alabama 28-15 on Saturday afternoon at Georgia State Stadium. Georgia State (7-4, 4-3 Sun Belt) allowed its fewest points since giving up 13 to the Jaguars in 2017. South Alabama (1-10, 0-7 Sun Belt) lost for the ninth-straight time and was held to just 326 total yards, the second-fewest allowed by the Panthers this season.
No. 24 Appalachian State 35, Texas State 13
BOONE, N.C. – Darrynton Evans ran for 154 yards and three second-half touchdowns and No. 23 Appalachian State avoided another home upset with a big second half to beat Texas State 35-13 on a rain-soaked Saturday. Zac Thomas threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns to help the Mountaineers (10-1, 6-1 Sun Belt) improve to 30-6 at home since becoming an FBS team in 2014.
Arkansas State 38, Georgia Southern 33
JONESBORO, Ark. – Layne Hatcher threw for four touchdowns in the first half to stake Arkansas State to a 35-10 lead and the Red Wolves defense held off a Georgia Southern rally in a 38-33 senior day victory Saturday at Centennial Bank Stadium. Arkanas State (7-4, 5-2 Sun Belt) finished with 445 yards of total offense with Hatcher throwing for 354 yards on 19-of-24 passing. Jamal Jones had 10 carries for 74 yards while Murray had 13 rushes for 37 yards as the Red Wolves had 91 yards on the ground. Georgia Southern (6-5, 4-3 Sun Belt) finished with 481 yards of offense, 299 yards rushing and 182 yards through the air.
ULM 45, Coastal Carolina 42
MONROE, La. –
Caleb Evans threw for two touchdowns and Josh Johnson ran for two more as ULM rallied to get past Coastal Carolina 45-42 on Saturday night. ULM (5-6, 4-3 Sun Belt) took a 21-14 lead into the break and was ahead 31-28 going into the final quarter. The Chanticleers took their first lead since early in the first stanza when Fred Payton hit Reese White on a 41-yard scoring strike to go ahead 35-31 with 12:17 remaining in the game.

LAFAYETTE, La. – Trey Ragas ran for two touchdowns as Louisiana rolled to a 53-3 win over Troy on Saturday night. Ragas had 79 yards rushing and was one of four running backs to score touchdowns for the Ragin' Cajuns (9-2, 6-1 Sun Belt Conference). Chris Smith led with 87 yards and Raymond Calais and Elijah Mitchell each contributed to a total of 254 rushing yards. Levi Lewis threw for 273 yards and a score.
