Troy's Kayla Robinson Wins Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honor

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Kayla Robinson, Troy (Senior, Guard, Savannah, Ga.)
Troy senior guard Kayla Robinson led the Trojans in scoring in both wins this past week, scoring more than 20-points in back-to-back games for just the second time in her career. She posted a season-high 25 points in a 12-point comeback victory over Kent State in the final game of the Holiday Hoops Classic out in Las Vegas and the day before the Savannah, Ga. native, scored a team-high 21 points in a victory over Toledo. In the two games she averaged 23 points per game, all while playing 25 minutes off the bench in both games. She shot 48% for the week including a 50% performance against KSU and had 8 rebounds, one assist and one steal in the tournament.
