BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The 2019 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships begin Monday, February 18, at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. The meet will conclude Tuesday night. The championship will begin at 9:00 a.m. CT on Monday with the combined events, beginning with the heptathlon. Field events begin at 12:00 p.m. CT with running events starting at 4:15 p.m. CT.

Tuesday will see the rest of the heptathlon events at 9:00 a.m. CT followed by the pentathlon at 9:20 a.m. CT. Field events begin at 12:00 p.m. CT with the final running events starting at 12:30 p.m. CT and the awards presentation at approximately 4:30 p.m. CT.

Texas State claimed the women's team title in 2018 with 135 points while Arkansas State earned the men’s team title with 145 points.

The Red Wolves will look to become the first men’s indoor track & field program to claim back-to-back conference titles since former league member WKU back in 2012 and 2013, while Texas State hopes to three-peat on the women’s side. No team has claimed back-to-back-to-back titles in women’s indoor track & field since 2011.
