Appalachian State senior Jeannez Daniel had her best week by far going a perfect 2-0 in both singles and doubles and leading the Mountaineers to their first back-to-back road wins in conference play since joining the Sun Belt. Daniel clinched the match in the 4-2 victory over Coastal Carolina and gave Appalachian State its first singles win in the 4-3 triumph over Arkansas State. Against the Red Wolves, her doubles win with senior Rebecca Morse tied up the doubles portion after Arkansas State won the first doubles match. Daniel has turned it on as of late, boasting a 5-2 singles record over her last seven matches and a 5-1 doubles record over her last six contests.
