Silje Lindstad, South Alabama, Freshman
South Alabama's Silje Lindstad won the Jaguar Opener 1,500m on her first collegiate attempt with a time of 4:44.50 and took the runner-up spot in the 3,000m after crossing the line in 10:30.63.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Autavia Fluker, South Alabama, Junior
South Alabama's Autavia Fluker set a new school shot put record at the Jaguar Opener with a 16.12m (52-10.50) mark which leads the NCAA Division I East and is tied for second on the 2019 NCAA Division I performance list. The junior also had a personal-best hammer throw of 57.31m (188-00.25) which is the fifth-longest in school history and ranks among the top 20 in the nation this season.Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Isaac Benz, Appalachian State, Freshman
Appalachian State's Isaac Benz turned in the top 5k time in the Sun Belt this weekend at the 49er Classic, crossing sixth overall in a PR time of 14:50.55...His time also ranked as the 11th fastest time in the event in the nation during the opening weekend of competition.

Kyle Baudoin, Louisiana, Senior
Louisian's Kyle Baudoin posted the top-mark in the Sun Belt Conference (17-0) and sixth-best mark nationally after claiming the pole vault crown at the 2019 Louisiana Classics ... cleared the 17-foot mark for the fourth time in his career, and first since clearing 17-0 at the 2018 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championships.
