Men
• Georgia State (15-9, 6-1 Sun Belt) clinched the top seed for the fourth-straight season. The Panthers seek their third Sun Belt Tournament title after hoisting the trophy in 2013 and 2017. The No. 1 seed enters the championship having won eight of their last nine matches.

• Second-seeded South Alabama (15-6, 5-1) has won the Sun Belt Men's Tennis Championship 19 times and looks to repeat for the first time since 2007 and 2008.

• In the latest Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Men’s National Rankings released on April 16, UTA senior Guanarteme Nuez ranked 89th in singles and South Alabama juniors Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol ranked 68th in doubles.

Women
• Appalachian State (15-5, 9-1 Sun Belt) claimed its first conference regular-season title in program history in earning the No. 1 seed. • South Alabama (19-4, 8-2), the No. 2 seed, earned wins in four of its last five matches. The Jaguars seek their first Sun Belt Tournament title since 2015. South Alabama won 12 consecutive Sun Belt Championships from 1992-2003 but only has that 2015 title to its credit since that streak.
• Georgia State (10-12, 5-5) comes into the championship this year as the No. 6 seed after capturing the title twice in the past three seasons (2016, 2018).
