Georgia Southern freshman infielder/designated hitter Noah Ledford went .438 (7-for-16) with hits and at least one RBI in all four games, helping guide a series win over Coastal Carolina that returned the Eagles to top of the East Division. Ledford blasted a two-run home run in a 7-4 midweek win over Charleston Southern before hitting a leadoff home run in the ninth inning to cement a win in the series opener against the Chanticleers. He closed his week going 3-for-5 with four RBI, including driving in two runs in the sixth inning, to put Georgia Southern up for good. Ledford finished the week with a .813 slugging percentage and .474 on-base percentage.

Drake Nightengale, South Alabama (Jr., RHP, Hattiesburg, Miss.)

South Alabama junior pitcher Drake Nightengale struck out a career-high 14 batters in a career-high seven scoreless innings to earn the win against Southern Miss. Nightengale allowed three hits and issued two walks. His 14 strikeouts were the most by a Jaguar hurler since Kevin Hill struck out 15 against Georgia State on April 24, 2015.
