SAN MARCOS, Texas – A doubleheader sweep on Friday clinched the outright Sun Belt Conference regular season championship for the Texas State baseball team (36-18, 20-10 Sun Belt). The Bobcats defeated rival UT Arlington (31-24, 17-12 Sun Belt) 10-9 in game one and 13-11 in the second contest at Bobcat Ballpark to wrap up the regular season.

Mobile, Ala. – Levi Thomas tossed seven stellar innings and Troy tallied 12 hits en route to defeating in-state rival South Alabama, 6-2 in Sun Belt Conference baseball action on Friday night at Stanky Field.
The Trojans' (28-27, 15-14 Sun Belt) bats came alive early in the contest as four of their first five hits were for extra bases forcing the Jaguars' (30-24, 16-14 Sun Belt) starter Patrick McBride (3-3) night to end after the second inning.
Georgia Southern vs. Georgia State - postponed due to inclement weather
ATLANTA -- Friday's home game against Georgia Southern at the GSU Baseball Complex has been postponed by lightning and rain.
The teams will conclude the regular season with a doubleheader Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. The second game of the doubleheader will follow at approximately 5:30 p.m.
