Troy's Webb, Georgia Southern's Ramos Earn Final Softball Weekly Honors

Troy junior first base Katie Webb batted .833 (5-for-6) in the final two games of the Trojans' series sweep over South Alabama. Webb went 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, and an RBI in Troy's 10-inning victory on Friday. In Saturday's series finale, she went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI. In two games, Webb recorded a .889 on-base percentage and a 1.167 slugging percentage.

Kaylee Ramos, Georgia Southern (Sr., P, Sugar Hill, Ga.)
Georgia Southern senior pitcher Kaylee Ramos went 2-0 with a 0.68 earned-run average as the Eagles played their way into the 2019 Sun Belt Softball Championship with a series sweep of Georgia State.  Ramos gave up one earned run and only two hits in five innings in Georgia Southern's 10-1 win on Friday. She followed that up with 5.1 innings of two-hit shutout ball in a 2-0 win on Saturday. In two appearances, Ramos struck out six and held the Panthers to a .121 batting average in 10.1 innings of work.
