NEW ORLEANS – The 2019-20 National Football League season gets underway this week with 40 former Sun Belt Conference football standouts on rosters across the league's 32 teams.
The Sun Belt is set to open the season with 23 former standouts on active rosters, 10 on practice squads and seven on reserved lists. The conference has representatives on 23 different NFL teams.
