Thomas, Bartolero Lead Troy to Game One Win Over Bulldogs
TROY, Ala. – Troy pitchers combined to allow just one hit as the Trojans cruised to their sixth-straight win to open the season with a 4-0 shutout of Louisiana Tech Friday night at Riddle-Pace field. Levi Thomas didn't allow a hit and fanned 11 batters in six scoreless innings as he improved to 2-0 this season and 12-2 in his career.

Caleb Bartolero continued his hot start to the season, going 2-4 with a double and a home run to finish the night with three RBIs. Rigsby Mosley also went 2-4 with a triple and upped his career-long hitting streak to 12 games dating back to last season.

Louisiana Blanks Virginia Tech in Weekend Opener, 2-0
LAFAYETTE - Louisiana Baseball used an incredible pitching effort from Conor Angel, Jacob Schultz and Connor Cooke to blank Virginia Tech, 2-0, on Friday night at M.L. 'Tigue' Moore Field at Russo Park.

Angel followed up his tremendous opening day outing with an even better showing on Friday night, throwing 7.1 innings and fanning seven Hokies to earn his first career win (1-1) as a Ragin' Cajun.

Barnes Flirts with No-Hitter as Warhawks Roll by Grambling
MONROE, La. – Ty Barnes retired the first 14 batters he faced and carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning, while the ULM offense struck for 10 runs over the first three innings, as the Warhawk baseball team rolled past Grambling State 15-0 on Friday night at Warhawk Field.

Barnes was sharp all evening, and didn't allow a baserunner until he hit Michael Sookdeo with two outs in the fifth inning. Barnes then retired the next six hitters before Jordyn Smith hit a solid single to left for Grambling's only hit of the night.

Trojan Rallies, Emshoff's Blasts Lift Trojans Past Colonels
THIBODAUX, La. – Little Rock rallied twice in the final four innings to force extra innings, then a two-run homerun by Kale Emshoff in the top of the 10th put the Trojans in front for good, earning an 8-6 win over Nicholls at Ray E. Didier Field.

Little Rock improves to 4-1 on the season, picking up its first road win of the season.
