Owens Throws Gem, Eagles Take Down No. 4 UGA
ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia Southern baseball defeated No. 4 Georgia on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the Bulldogs 6-3 at Foley Field. The Eagles improved to 6-5 on the season, while UGA fell to 11-2.

Tyler Owens pitched six and 2/3 innings for GS on Tuesday, allowing three hits and striking out three. Owens left in the seventh with one on and in a 6-1 ballgame. Hayden Harris came in to close out the seventh and finished off the Bulldogs in the eighth and ninth. Harris allowed four hits and two runs, striking out five UGA batters.

ULM used a two-out RBI double by Carson Klepzig and a two-out wild pitch to score Colin Gordon, along with a sterling pitching effort and solid defense, to defeat Jackson State, 2-0, Tuesday night at Warhawk Field.

Ragin’ Cajuns Cruise Past Rice, 11-2
HOUSTON - Louisiana used a seven-run fifth inning to push them past Rice, 11-2, on Tuesday night at Reckling Park. The Ragin' Cajuns' 11 runs and 13 hits were both season highs. The performance marked the first time Louisiana plated double-digit runs since May 19, 2019, against ULM.
