NEW ORLEANS – After finishing the week 2-0 for their respective teams, Troy's Carles Anton and South Alabama's Nikola Kohoutova have earned the Sun Belt weekly awards.
 
Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
Carles Anton, Troy

Anton went 2-0 on the week, as he helped lead the Trojans to a 4-1 win over Coastal Carolina. Anton partnered with Amer Bedwan to defeat the Chanticleers Daiki Tanabe and Juan Castellanos, 6-4. Anton saw his singles record improve to an impressive 15-3 on the season.
 
Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Nikola Kohoutova, South Alabama

Nikola Kohoutova finished the week 2-0 in singles and doubles play, as she recorded wins against Georgia Southern and Georgia State. The Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, native then earned her sixth-consecutive singles victory over GSU's Angel Carney in straight sets (6-2, 6-2) on court two in the Jaguar win.
