Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Hayden Arnold, Little Rock
(Sr., RHP – Rison, Ark.) 
 
Trojans senior right-handed pitcher Hayden Arnold retired 21 of the 25 batters he faced, while allowing no runs on four hits, in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over ULM. The Rison, Ark., native struck out 10 in seven innings pitched, earning his fifth quality start in the last six outings. Arnold moved to seventh all-time in Trojan program history with 194 career strikeouts. 

Baseball Player of the Week
Mason McWhorter, Georgia Southern
(Sr., OF/IF – Cumming, Ga.) 

Eagles senior outfielder Mason McWhorter homered in each game of the three-game set at Coastal Carolina to propel Georgia Southern to a 2-1 series victory. The Cumming, Ga., product hit .475 (10-for-21) and slugged 1.000 with 10 RBIs, five runs scored, two doubles and three home runs on the week. McWhorter also helped the Eagles pick up non-conference wins against North Florida, 8-6, and Mercer, 3-2.
