Huynh Earns SBC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week Recognition

NEW ORLEANS – Georgia State’s Kevin Huynh earned the final Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honor of the 2020-2021 campaign after helping lead the Panthers to a 4-0 win over UAB, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Wednesday.
 
As part of the No. 55 doubles pair, Huynh helped clinch the doubles point for the Panthers over No. 48 Middle Tennessee.

In the last match of the regular season against UNC Wilmington, Huynh registered a 6-3, 6-4 result in No. 4 singles.

Huynh and Georgia State will head to the Sun Belt Conference Championship this weekend as the top-ranked seed. The Panthers will begin match play in the semifinal round on April 24 at 10 a.m. ET.
