Sun Belt Studio Launches, First Production to Air Thursday on ESPN+

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt announced the launch of its in-house, state-of-the-art studio and control room at the Superdome on Tuesday.
 
The first production from the new facility will be for Sun Belt Football Media Day on Thursday, July 22. The Sun Belt Studio will allow the conference office to produce special events, conference championships and behind-the-scenes shoulder content in-house. 
 
 “Our new studio will provide us with an opportunity to produce enhanced branded content. We know that strong story-telling is vital to building our brand,” said Sun Belt Commissioner Keith Gill. “This added content will help showcase our members and their incredible athletic and academic accomplishments.”

The Sun Belt Conference will annually produce its cross country, volleyball, soccer, indoor track & field, women’s golf, men’s golf, women’s tennis, men’s tennis and baseball championships from the state-of-the-art REMI control room. Throughout the regular season, the studio will also enable the conference office to assist campus productions with consistency in graphic integrations on ESPN+. 
 
In addition to producing over 100 live events per year, the Sun Belt Studio will allow the conference to expand its video presence through shoulder content, feature stories and social media pieces. The space will provide opportunities to engage with coaches and student-athletes in all 17 Sun Belt Conference sports, while enhancing the branding of the conference year-round.
