Lady Raider Caia Morstads Saskatchewan beach volleyball team finished sixth in the Canada Games Thursday, after a 21-15, 12-21, 12-15 loss to Nova Scotia.
Morstad had 12 kills and one ace in the game, as the team finished the competition with a record of 2-3. In the playoffs, which took place late Wednesday, she led the game with 13 kills in Saskatchewans loss to Alberta 10-21, 19-21.
Late action also took place for another Lady Raider, as Dara McCleans Manitoba team defeated Saskatchewan in indoor volleyball action 28-26, 25-22, 21-25, 10-25, 16-14. She had four kills, four digs, and one block to help her team stay undefeated in the competition.
In a twilight contest on Thursday, the Manitoba team will enter into another semi-final game with Quebec. The winner will move on to the medal rounds on Friday.
