SUN BELT "ASK THE ANALYST" IS BACK: New feature continues through basketball

AP Photo NEW ORLEANS - The 2004-05 Sun Belt Conference-ESPN Regional Television Basketball Network is in full swing. The Sun Belt will have at least a total of 19 men's and women's games on the network, culminating with the 2005 Aeropostale Sun Belt Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament in March. The University of North Texas hosts this year's tournament, March 4-8.

For the men's games, Sam Smith, the voice of the Sun Belt Conference, serves as play-by-play, while former Arkansas-Little Rock head coach Wimp Sanderson serves as analyst. ESPN's Larry Conley will also share the table with Smith on selected games. Joining Smith for the second year for the women's telecasts is former Duke head coach Debbie Leonard.
