All-American Honors Roll in for WKU's Antonio Andrews

NEW ORLEANS - After being named the Sun Belt Conference’s Player of the Year and top offensive player, WKU’s Antonio Andrews was named a First Team All-American as an all-purpose player by SI.com

With those honors, Andrews becomes the first player in SBC history to earn First Team All-America accolades from SI.com and is also the first player in SBC history to earn first or second team honors on multiple occasions from the outlet.

The nation’s leader in all-purpose yardage was a Second Team all-purpose player last season after becoming just the second player in NCAA history to tally more than 3,000 all-purpose yards in a single season. He is also the fifth player in the FBS era at WKU to earn distinction as an All-American.

In addition to Andrews, Georgia State’s Albert Wilson, Arkansas State’s J.D. McKissic and Qushaun Lee, UL-Lafayette’s Justin Anderson were all listed as Honorable Mention on the SI.com All-American list.
