The second set was even tighter. UALR had a seven point lead until TCU came storming back to tie. Both teams were neck and neck until UALR took the set, again in extra points.
The third set saw UALR pull away. The Horned Frogs had the Trojans lead down to five, but it wasn’t enough as UALR countered with a flurry of kills to seal the match and win the tournament.

Coming off Friday afternoon’s triple-double performance against Prairie View, Begic led the way by racking up 11 kills and three blocks. "Ball State is traditionally a very strong program and last year they were one of the top 70 teams in the country. From start to finish, I really thought our girls controlled the match. Coming into today's match, I felt that it would come down to the team that wanted it more and had the mindset to take it."
