Louisiana 105, Nicholls 80
THIBODAUX, La. -- Johnathan Stove hit 11 of 12 free throws and scored 23 to lead six players in double figures and added seven assists and six rebounds to power Louisiana to a 105-80 win over Nicholls on Friday night.

The Ragin' Cajuns (6-2) got double-doubles from Bryce Washington (10 points, 12 rebounds) and Malik Marquetti (13 points, 11 boards). JaKeenan Gant chipped in with 20 points and eight rebounds, Frank Bartley IV scored 19 and reserve Justin Miller added 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Tevon Saddler totaled 20 points and six rebounds to pace the Colonels (4-4), who were hosting Louisiana for the first time since 1971. The Ragin' Cajuns have nine straight wins on Nicholls' home court.

Louisiana trailed by four at halftime and by 10 at 62-52 early in the second half before the Cajuns rallied. Bartley scored 11 and Stove added seven points in a 21-0 run that covered 6:23 and Louisiana led 73-62 at the midway point. The Cajuns wrapped up the victory with a 9-0 run that upped their lead to 92-69 with 5:43 left.

Louisiana outscored Nicholls 61-32 in the second half. The Cajuns made 32 of 60 shots (53.3 percent) from the floor, while holding the Colonels to 33.8 percent (25 of 74).

UTA 65, North Texas 60
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Kevin Hervey scored 23 points and Erick Neal added 20 and they took over late to lead UT Arlington past North Texas 65-60 on Saturday night for the Mavericks' fifth straight win.
 
Hervey broke a tie at 60 on a jumper with 23 seconds left to put UT Arlington (7-1) up for good at 62-60. Just seconds prior, Shane Temara tied at 60 for the Mean Green.
 
Before Temara's bucket, Neal scored on a layup with 54 seconds left for a 60-58 lead. Neal added a pair of free throws with three seconds left to secure the win.
 
Hervey added eight rebounds and Neal had a season-high five steals, five rebounds and three assists. Johnny Hamilton finished a rebound shy of his third double-double of the season with 10 points and nine rebounds.
 
Temara led North Texas (4-5) with 15 points and a career-high 14 rebounds and Roosevelt Smart scored 14.
 
Oral Roberts 74, Little Rock 66 (2OT)
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Javan White scored 18 points and pulled down 20 rebounds -- career bests in both and his second straight double-double -- as Oral Roberts held off Arkansas-Little Rock 74-66 in double overtime on Saturday.
 
Albert Owens led the Golden Eagles (2-7) with 19 points, R.J. Fuqua added a career-high 15 and Emmanuel Nzekwesi 10.
 
White was especially active in the second overtime where Little Rock missed seven of eight shots. White had a steal, a basket and collared five of his 16 defensive rebounds in the second OT and Oral Roberts made just enough free throws, 4 of 8, to secure the win.
 
Andre Jones led Little Rock (2-6) with 25 points, tying his career best, and Anthony Black added 14, but the Trojans were 28-for-77 from the field (36 percent) and made 10 fewer free throws than Oral Roberts, converting 6 of 11.
 
In a see-saw game, the Golden Eagles led 23-18 at the half but trailed 33-27 as Little Rock rallied with a 6-0 run capped by a Black 3-pointer. The lead went back and forth from there and each team missed shots in the last 16 seconds to go to overtime, tied 54-54.
 
Georgia Southern 97, Tennessee Wesleyan 61
STATESBORO, Ga. -- Jake Allsmiller scored 19 points and dished five assists as Georgia Southern snapped a two-game skid, beating Tennessee Wesleyan of the NAIA 97-61 on Saturday night.
 
Allsmiller was 6 of 11 from 3-point range for the Eagles (6-2). Tookie Brown had 15 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Jared Hamilton added another 15 points, David-Lee Jones Jr. had 12 and Quan Jackson 10.
 
The team averaged 55 percent shooting compared to 40 percent for Tennessee Wesleyan and had a 37-29 rebounding edge.
 
Georgia Southern took its time early, then poured it on to finish the half with Allsmiller draining three 3-pointers and Coye Simmons dunking for a 52-32 halftime lead.
 
The Eagles outscored the Bulldogs 45-29 in the second half and cruised to the win.
 
Jalen Oliver scored 23 points for Tennessee Wesleyan. Kenny Dean added 15.
 
Appalachian State 84, South Florida 61
BOONE, N.C. -- Ronshad Shabazz scored 21 points with five assists as Appalachian State rolled to an 84-61 win over South Florida on Saturday night.
 
Shabazz was 9 of 18 from the field and sank both of his free throws. Justin Forrest added 19 points and five assists for the Mountaineers (5-4). Tyrell Johnson had 13 points and Isaac Johnson had 10 rebounds.
 
Forrest and Shabazz scored all of Appalachian State's points during a 20-11 start, a O'Showen Williams' 3-pointer made it 27-14 and the Mountaineers led 44-33 at the break.
 
Johnson made a 3-pointer, a layup and a dunk in the first two minutes of the second half and a Craig Hinton 3 near the halfway point stretched it to 64-48.
 
Stephan Jiggetts scored 17 points for the Bulls (4-5), who are on a three-game skid.
 
FIU 87, South Alabama 58
MIAMI -- Trejon Jacob scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds as Florida International upended South Alabama 85-59 on Saturday night.
 
Jacob was 9 of 15 from the field including four 3-pointers for the Golden Panthers (4-4). Eric Lockett added 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists, Brian Beard Jr. and Willy Nunez Jr. had 14 points apiece and Hassan Hussein had 12 points and five rebounds.
 
FIU had 12 team steals contributing to 17 South Alabama turnovers.
 
A Lockett 3-pointer capped a 21-14 start for FIU and the Golden Panthers stretched it to 49-32 at the break.
 
South Alabama put up just 26 points in the second half and made only one field goal in the final six minutes.
 
Josh Ajayi led the Jaguars (5-4) with 15 points and five rebounds. Rodrick Sikes added 11 points.
 
Stephen F. Austin 68, ULM 65
NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- TJ Holyfield scored 24 points with seven rebounds and four 3-pointers, Aaron Augustin hit the game-winner at the buzzer, and Stephen F. Austin beat Louisiana Monroe 68-65 on Saturday.
 
Shannon Bogues made a go-ahead dunk amid a 12-0 run in which Holyfield hit two 3s and the Lumberjacks led 55-48 with 6:12 left, but the Warhawks tied it at 57 on Marvin Jean-Pierre's tip-in. Leon Gilmore III broke a 62-all tie with a pair of free throws, but Travis Munnings's 3 tied it at 65 with 25 seconds left. Bogues missed a jumper and the ball was knocked out to the arc where Augustin got the rebound and hit a 3 at the buzzer.
 
Leon Gilmore III and Kevon Harris scored 11 apiece, Bogues had 10, and the Lumberjacks (7-1) had just nine turnovers to the Warhawks 14. Holyfield had two blocks for his 100th career block.
 
Munnings' 3 broke a 13-all tie, Michael Ertel made a 3 and the Warhawks pulled away on an 8-3 run for 31-27 halftime lead behind Jean-Pierre's nine points.
 
Jean-Pierre scored 19, Munnings had 16 and Sam McDaniel 14 for the Warhawks (3-4).
 
Lamar 69, Coastal Carolina 67
CONWAY, S.C. -- Joey Frenchwood nailed a 3-pointer in the final seconds of overtime to secure the win as Lamar fought off Coastal Carolina 69-67 on Saturday night.
 
Nick Garth made two free throws and Zjori Bosha added another to give Lamar just enough cushion as Artur Labinowicz drilled a trey to close to 68-67 with ten seconds remaining.
 
Coastal Carolina's Zac Cuthbertson, who finished with 19 points, had four in the final minute of overtime but missed a 3-point attempt with three seconds left. Garth grabbed the rebound.
 
Lamar led throughout the second half until Jaylen Shaw drilled a trey to tie it at 56-56 with 34 seconds left. Frenchwood had two shots but failed to connect as time ran out in regulation.
 
Colton Weisbrod led Lamar (6-1) with 19 points and Frenchwood finished with 16, hitting 4 of 7 from deep.
 
Shaw had 16 points with Labinowicz adding 14 for the Chanticleers (4-4).
 
Houston Baptist 71, Texas State 52
HOUSTON -- William Gates Jr. matched his career best with 18 points, Josh Ibarra added 14 with a career-high 17 rebounds and six assists, and Houston Baptist beat Texas State 71-52 on Saturday night.
 
Braxton Bonds and Ian DuBose scored 10 apiece and the Huskies (3-5) shot 54.9 percent from the floor to the Bobcats 30.5 percent. Ibarra grabbed his 617th rebound to enter the top-15 in program history.
 
Bonds' layup sparked a 9-2 run and the Huskies led 47-33 early in the second half. Gates Jr. hit a layup and a jumper amid an 8-1 run for a 17-point lead and the Huskies led 65-44 after his 3-pointer with 4:40 to play.
 
Jaleon Gates scored a go-ahead jumper and Houston Baptist led 15-10 on his 3-pointer amid a 7-0 run after the Bobcats went scoreless for 4 1/2 minutes. The Huskies shot 59.1 percent from the floor, made all 10 of their free throws and led 38-30 at halftime.
 
Nijal Pearson scored 15 points for the Bobcats (4-4), who were outrebounded 39-28.
