Texas State 2, Arkansas State 1
Kat Conner, the only head coach in Texas State soccer history, earned her 200th career win Sunday afternoon at the Bobcat Soccer Complex as the Bobcats downed Arkansas State 2-1. Netting both goals for TXST was junior Kaylee Davis with one coming in each half.

The Bobcats improved to 6-5-1 on the season, the first time they are over .500 this year, and continue to sit atop the Sun Belt Conference standings with a 4-0-1 record. It is the best conference start for the team since 2009. The Red Wolves dropped their second straight match to fall to 5-4-2 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play.

Appalachian State 2, Coastal Carolina 0
Appalachian State University women's soccer (6-4-1, 3-0-0 SBC) is off to its best start in Sun Belt play since joining the conference after a 2-0 win over Coastal Carolina (4-5-1, 3-1-0 SBC) on Sunday afternoon at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.

Sunday's contest was originally scheduled for Saturday in Conway, but was moved due to the unfortunate aftermath of Hurricane Florence.

South Alabama 2, Georgia Southern 0
The University of South Alabama women's soccer team got goals in each half and junior goalkeeper Justice Stanford recorded her 21st career shutout to set a new school record in the Jaguars' 2-0 victory over Georgia Southern Sunday afternoon at The Cage.

The Jags move to 4-7 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference, and the Eagles drop to 4-7 and 2-2.

Georgia State 3, Troy 2
Georgia State held off a late rally from Troy and earned its first Sun Belt win of the season after Brooke Smith’s game-winning goal off a free kick in the 87th minute lifted the Panthers to a 3-2 victory Sunday afternoon at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The win boosted GSU to 3-9-1 overall and 1-4 in conference play, while Troy dropped to 2-10-1 on the year and 1-3 in the Sun Belt. Sunday’s victory also snapped Georgia State’s seven-game losing streak, giving the Panthers their first win since Aug. 31.

Little Rock 1, ULM 0
Arola Aparicio Gili knocked home the game-winning goal Sunday afternoon in the Trojans' 1-0 defeat of ULM to cap off an unbeaten weekend in conference play.
