STATESBORO, Ga. – Troy volleyball kept its momentum going Friday night, as it won its third straight Sun Belt road win in five sets over Georgia Southern. After falling in their first four conference matchups, the Trojans (9-11, 3-4) have responded with three wins in a row – all on the road – including a thrilling, five-set win Friday.

ATLANTA – The University of South Alabama volleyball team defeated Georgia State in four sets (25-23, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22) Friday in a Sun Belt Conference East Division match at GSU Sports Arena.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Trojan volleyball team completed its seventh sweep of the season, second in Sun Belt play, to extend a winning streak against ULM that started back on Oct. 10, 1992.

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Arkansas State women’s volleyball team defeated Louisiana in three sets, 25-18, 25-20, 25-16 Friday night at First National Bank Arena. With the win, the Red Wolves rise to 11-9 on the season and 3-4 in the Sun Belt Conference while Louisiana falls to 10-11 and 2-5 in the league.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Nearly two weeks since its last home match, the UT Arlington volleyball team returned to the College Park Center and put on a show. The Mavs handed Sun Belt Conference foe Coastal Carolina its first league loss of the season in a three-set sweep (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) on Friday night (Oct. 12).

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team earned a 3-0 triumph (25-19, 25-22, 25-20) over Appalachian State in a Sun Belt Conference match Friday night inside Strahan Arena. The win allowed the Bobcats (17-5, 8-0 Sun Belt) to become the last remaining undefeated team in conference play after UTA knocked off Coastal Carolina in Arlington. TXST also recorded its 12th-straight triumph, which marks the longest win streak since 2009.
