The Panthers improved to 6-9-1 overall and 4-4 in the Sun Belt while Coastal Carolina dropped to 7-6-1 on the year and 6-2 in the conference. Not only did the Panthers win four in a row for the first time since 2015, but they also snapped the Chanticleers’ streak of three straight shutout victories.

With the victory, the Bobcats improve to 9-5-1 on the season and continue to maintain their grasp on first in the Sun Belt Conference standings at 7-0-1. The Trojans drop to 3-12-1 overall and 2-5-0 in conference play.

South Alabama 1, Appalachian State 0

The Jaguars move to 7-8 overall and 5-3 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Mountaineers move to 7-7-1 and 4-3.

Georgia Southern 2, Louisiana 0
With no clouds in the sky and a slight breeze, the Georgia Southern women's soccer team took to the pitch for the final home match of the season. The Eagles went out on a high note, defeating the Ragin' Cajuns 2-0 in the conference make up game. Marcela Montoya and Ashton Adams recorded goals, as Jocelyn Springer and the Eagles defense shut the door picking up the fourth shutout of the season.

In the first half the Eagles and Cajuns finished in a stalemate, each team taking four shots and not having anything to show for it. The Cajuns had a chance midway through the first half, seeing and empty net off of a rebound, before Kristin Sandifer made a sliding save off the goal line to keep the match level at zero heading to the half.
