JONESBORO, Ark. – Propelled by Taylor Lindberg's third triple-double and a team-high 15 kills from Veronica Marin, the Little Rock Trojans downed the Arkansas State Red Wolves in five sets. It was the first Trojan win against the Red Wolves since 2014, which was also a victory celebrated in Jonesboro, and Little Rock's team is now 14-8 overall, 6-3 in Sun Belt Conference play.

LAFAYETTE, La. – Continued precise hitting led the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball squad to a straight sets sweep (25-15, 25-19, 25-13) of Georgia Southern on Saturday at Earl K. Long Gym.

South Alabama 3, UTA 1
MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team defeated UTA in four sets (20-25, 25-16, 25-21, 27-25) Saturday in a Sun Belt Conference match at Jag Gym. 

Texas State 3, Troy 0
TROY, Ala. – The Texas State volleyball team swept Troy 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-19) in a Sun Belt Conference match Saturday night inside Trojan Arena. The Bobcats (20-5, 11-0 Sun Belt) became the sixth team in the nation to reach the 20-win plateau this season. The maroon and gold are also on a 15-match win streak, which is the third-longest in school history. Troy fell to 10-13 overall and 4-6 in the league.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21
Appalachian State 3, Coastal Carolina 2
CONWAY, S.C. – Appalachian State volleyball posted a thrilling 3-2 (25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 20-25, 16-14) at Coastal Carolina on Sunday afternoon. App State now stands at 15-7 on the season and 7-3 in Sun Belt play, while the Chanticleers fall to 6-11 and 5-4 in the Sun Belt. The Mountaineers entered the weekend sitting half a game behind the Chanticleers in the Sun Belt East Division standings. Friday's sweep of Coastal Carolina along with Sunday's win now gives the Black and Gold a game and a half lead in the Sun Belt East Division.
