STATESBORO, Ga. – Senior middle blocker Lauren Reichard tallied a match-high 17 kills to go along with three blocks to lead Georgia Southern to a 3-1 Sun Belt Volleyball win over Georgia State on Senior night Friday in Hanner Fieldhouse.
Little Rock 3, Louisiana 0
LAFAYETTE, La. – The Little Rock volleyball team (17-11, 9-6) swept the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun (14-15, 6-9) 3-0 Friday night in Lafayette, twice beating the Ragin' Cajuns in straight sets in the same season since 2007. With the victory, Little Rock qualified for the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
Arkansas State 3, ULM 0
MONROE, La. – The Arkansas State volleyball team defeated ULM in straight sets (25-21, 29-27, 25-19) Friday night at Fant Ewing coliseum. With the win, the Red Wolves advance to 17-11 overall and 9-6 in Sun Belt action, while the Warhawks dropped to 11-18 overall and 3-12 in the league.
Coastal Carolina 3, South Alabama 0
MOBILE, Ala. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team swept South Alabama in three sets (25-16, 28-26, 25-20) on Friday evening to extend its current winning streak to six matches. Coastal's (12-11, 11-4 SBC) defense had yet another great outing, recording 16 blocks to tie its season high. The total was also the most among all Sun Belt teams in three-set matches this season, and marked the fourth time in the last five matches that the Chants reached double digits in rejections.

Appalachian State 3, Troy 1
TROY, Ala. – Appalachian State volleyball clinched the Sun Belt East Division title with a tough 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20) victory at Troy on Friday evening. The division title is the first for the Mountaineers (20-7, 12-3 SBC) since the Sun Belt went to a division format in 2016. By virtue of winning the division, App State will receive a double bye and earns the second seed at the Sun Belt Tournament next week in Atlanta, Ga. The Black and Gold's first match at the Sun Belt Tournament will take place on Nov. 17.
