Florida State 83, Troy 67
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.
– Troy dropped an 83-67 decision to a physical No. 11 Florida State team on Monday night in non-conference basketball action inside of David L. Tucker Civic Center. The Trojans (3-5) went into halftime only trailing by nine, 37-28, after shooting 40.7 percent (11-of-27) from the field without knocking down a three-pointer. Senior Jordon Varnado led the way for the Trojans, posting 15 points, five boards, a pair of blocks and an assist while sophomore Darian Adams added a career-high 14 points on 60 percent (6-of-10) shooting from the field.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4
Appalachian State 100, Howard 86
BOONE, N.C.
 – In a matchup between two of the top scoring teams in the nation, Appalachian State men's basketball saw five players reach double figures in a 100-86 victory over Howard on Tuesday evening in the Holmes Center. The Bison (5-3) entered the game ranked 11th in the nation, averaging 88.7 points, while the Mountaineers sat in a tie for 24th place, averaging 86.0 points. Justin Forrest had a game-high tying 21 points on 7-of-14 (50.0 percent) shooting. He added a season-high nine rebounds.

Bradley 68, Little Rock 62
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.
– Little Rock raced out to a commanding first half lead and held Bradley to just one field goal in the opening 14 minutes. But turnovers and free throw struggles once again haunted the Trojans as a second half surge from the Braves propelled Bradley to a 68-62 come-from-behind win at the Jack Stephens Center. The loss drops the Trojans to 4-5 on the year and 3-2 at home with Bradley improving to 7-3 on the season.

Arkansas State 87, Evansville 77
JONESBORO, Ark.
– Senior guard Ty Cockfield II scored a game-high 24 points and Arkansas State held Evansville below its season shooting percentages, helping the Red Wolves claim an 87-77 victory over the Purple Aces Tuesday night at First National Bank Arena. The Red Wolves improved to 2-0 at home and brought their overall record to 3-5 on the year.  Evansville entered the game winners in four of their last five contests, but saw their record move to 4-4 with the setback.

Georgia State 83, Alabama 80
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.
– Senior Malik Benlevi’s buzzer-beater three-pointer helped Georgia State overcome a 21-point halftime deficit to top Alabama on Tuesday night 83-80 at Coleman Coliseum.

Missouri 65, UTA 45
COLUMBIA, Mo.
– UTA men's basketball team (3-6) struggled offensively Tuesday night at SEC member Missouri (5-3) as the Mavericks scored a season-low point total en route to a 65-45 setback to the Tigers at Mizzou Arena.
