– Senior forward Zac Cuthbertson had team highs of 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead Coastal Carolina to a 75-66 win over Hampton Wednesday at the HTC Center, as the Chanticleers improved to 5-4 on the season. Cuthbertson was supported by junior guard Tyrell Gumbs-Frater, who had 12 points and senior guard Ajay Sanders, who had 11 points. Sophomore guard Trevion Brown added 10 points and 7 assists, and junior forward Amidou Bamba had 9 points and 8 rebounds in just 17 minutes of action before fouling out. It was the fifth double-double game for Cuthbertson and his third consecutive.

 – JaKeenan Gant posted his second consecutive double-double, scoring a season-high 21 points while grabbing a career-best 13 rebounds while Jeremy Hayes came off the bench to score a season-high 18 points as the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns rolled to a 97-84 win over Loyola (N.O.) on Wednesday at the Cajundome

New Orleans 71, South Alabama 60
NEW ORLEANS 
– The New Orleans men's basketball team went on an 18-3 rally to break a 50-50 tie late in the second half to defeat the University of South Alabama 71-60 Wednesday night at Lakefront Arena.

Texas State 61, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 55
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas
– Freshman center Alonzo Sule scored a career-high 22 points and Nijal Pearson added 16 to lead the Texas State men's basketball team  to a 61-55 victory Wednesday at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the American Bank Center. Sule scored 14 of his points in the second half when the Bobcats outscored the Islanders 37-31 after the score was tied 24-24 at halftime.
