No. 15 Portland 2, No. 24 Coastal Carolina 1
CHARLESTON, S.C. – With a match that was moved to Charleston due to Hurricane Florence and in a battle of nationally-ranked teams, it was the Pilots of Portland who came away with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Coastal Carolina. Portland was the third nationally-ranked team the Chants had played this season, and like the others it was a close battle.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Facing a hot High Point (7-1) team on Tuesday evening, Appalachian State University men's soccer (5-2-1) fell to the Panthers, 2-0, at Vert Stadium. App State went up against a High Point squad that came into the week ranked just out of the top 25 at 29th in the nation and had outscored its previous two opponents, 5-1.
