Appalachian State 3, ULM 0
BOONE, N.C. –
Appalachian State volleyball posted its fifth consecutive victory, sweeping past ULM by a 27-25, 25-16, 25-21 count on Friday evening inside the Holmes Center. The Mountaineers are now 11-4 on the season and move to 3-0 in Sun Belt play. The five-match win streak is the longest for App State since the 2015 season.

Coastal Carolina 3, Louisiana 1
CONWAY, S.C. – 
Following a much-delayed homecoming the Coastal Carolina volleyball team did not disappoint in its first appearance in front of a home crowd this season, defeating Louisiana in four (25-16, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18) sets Friday evening at the HTC Center.

Georgia Southern 3, South Alabama 2
MOBILE, Ala.
– Maddie Bryant tallied a career high 21 kills to lead Georgia Southern to a 3-2 Sun Belt volleyball win over South Alabama Friday night. It was Georgia Southern’s first five-set win of the season and the most kills for an Eagle individual since Megan Chevalier posted 21 in a five-setter against ULM in 2016. 

UTA 3, Arkansas State 2
ARLINGTON, Texas –
It was a thrilling way to open league play at College Park Center as UT Arlington topped Sun Belt perennial power Arkansas State in five sets on Friday night in UTA's first SBC match on the home floor. 

Texas State 3, Little Rock 1
SAN MARCOS, Texas
– The Texas State volleyball team battled to a 3-1 (25-22, 25-15, 28-30, 25-18) triumph over Little Rock in a Sun Belt Conference match Friday night inside Strahan Arena. The Bobcats (12-5, 3-0 Sun Belt) now own the league's longest current winning streak at seven matches, while the Trojans (10-6, 2-1) suffered their first conference setback of the year.

Georgia State 3, Troy 2
TROY, Ala.
– Georgia State volleyball came from two sets behind to defeat Troy 3-2 on the road Friday evening. The Panthers (1-1 in Sun Belt) were led by a career high nine blocks by sophomore Meisheia Griffin, and a double double by Crystal Lee. The Trojans took the first set 25-12, and would battle their way to a 28-26 marathon win in the second. GSU bounced back, holding Troy to just .065 hitting on the way to a 25-21 third set win.
