WASHINGTON
– In a contest that saw a combined 47 shots, the Howard University men's soccer team and the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Keydets were unable to find the back of the net as the contest ended in a tie.

Santa Clara 2, Georgia State 1
ATLANTA
– Georgia State men’s soccer saw its six-game win streak come to an end Saturday night, as the Panthers gave up two goals in the final eight minutes in route to a 2-1 loss to Santa Clara at the GSU Soccer Complex. The loss snapped GSU’s six-game win streak, a streak that the team achieved for the first time in over 30 years. Georgia State fell to 6-3-0 overall while Santa Clara improved to 4-5-0 on the season.

Appalachian State 3, George Mason 0
FAIRFAX, Va.
– Appalachian State University men's soccer (6-2-1) bounced back with a 3-0 triumph against George Mason (2-4) at George Mason Stadium on Saturday evening. With the win, App State surpassed last season's win total while picking up their first win over the Patriots. 

Mercer 3, Georgia Southern 1
MACON, Ga. 
– Mercer men's soccer scored twice in a four-minute first-half span to claim a 3-1 victory over visiting Georgia Southern on Saturday evening at Betts Stadium in Macon, Ga.

Maryland 3, Coastal Carolina 1
CONWAY, S.C. 
– Coastal Carolina men's soccer team fell to ACC-member Maryland and in rematch of two teams that met last season, but this time with different results.
