NACOGDOCHES, Texas – ULM volleyball dropped its fourth straight match on Tuesday (Sept. 4) in a mid-week match-up with Southland member Stephen F. Austin. The Warhawks (2-5) showed tenacity and out-attacked the Ladyjacks (5-2), but fell in three sets (25-21, 25-12, 25-20).
North Florida 3, Georgia Southern 1
SAVANNAH, Ga. – Gabby O’Connell tallied 16 kills, 10 digs and a pair of blocks to lead North Florida to a 3-1 non-conference volleyball win over Georgia Southern Tuesday night in Alumni Arena on the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus. The contest was the first official athletic event on the Georgia Southern Armstrong campus since the consolidation. The Eagles hope to play more contests on the Armstrong Campus as part of the school’s ongoing Savannah Series.

BATON ROUGE, La. – Paced by season-high totals of 10 aces and 14 blocks Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball defeated Southern University 3-1 (25-16, 25-10, 27-29, 25-16) on Tuesday at Clifford Seymour Gym. Louisiana (6-2) nearly doubled the Jaguars in kills (27-14) and held the hosts to a negative hitting percentage over the first two sets in building the lead.

HOUSTON – The Texas State volleyball team recorded a 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 20-25, 16-25, 15-9) victory over Rice Tuesday night inside Tudor Fieldhouse. The Bobcats (5-3) won their fifth match in a row in their first time being broadcast live on beIN Sports. The Owls (5-2) entered the match receiving votes in the VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll and suffered just their second setback of the season.
