CONWAY, Ark. – Little Rock and Central Arkansas staged a five-set thriller in its inaugural Governor's I-40 Showdown matchup with the Trojans rallying from a 2-1 deficit to force the decisive fifth set. But the Sugar Bears edged out the Trojans with the final two points of the match, taking set five 16-14 to claim the 3-2 victory at the Farris Center.

UMKC 3, Arkansas State 2
KANSAS CITY, Mo.  –  The Arkansas State volleyball team received double-doubles from three different players, but it wasn’t enough as the squad dropped its second straight five-set contest by a score of 3-2 (25-19, 17-25, 19-25, 25-21, 13-15) to UMKC Thursday night to begin the Kangaroo Classic at Swinney Recreation Center in Kansas City, Mo.

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team lost 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-19) to No. 6 Texas Thursday night inside Gregory Gymnasium. The Bobcats (5-4) had their five-match win streak snapped, while the nationally-ranked Longhorns improved to 4-1 on the year.
