WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Freshman Maddie Bryant tallied 26 kills, 17 digs and five blocks in two matches, but the Georgia Southern volleyball team suffered two losses at the Wake Forest Invitational Saturday in Reynolds Gym. The Eagles (1-9) fell 3-2 to the host Demon Deacons in the morning, their fourth five-set loss of the season, and suffered a 3-1 setback to Elon in the evening.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The ULM volleyball team wanted to leave its mark on Memphis, and that it did. After a hard-fought five-set match against Memphis and a sweep of North Alabama yesterday (Sept. 7), the Warhawks defeated Tennessee Tech in 3-0 fashion for their second-straight sweep of the Tiger Invitational.

ATLANTA – Senior setter, Sarah Renner hit the 2,000 career assist mark Saturday evening as the Panthers fell in both matches of a doubleheader at the GSU Sports Arena. The senior from Cedar Rapids became just the ninth player in program history to reach the 2,000 marker.

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team defeated Louisiana Tech in four sets (25-17, 25-15, 24-26, 25-20) Saturday at Jag Gym to win the Jaguar Invitational. USA (4-5) won the tournament with Saturday's win, which marked its third straight.
