ATLANTA – D’Marcus Simonds scored the game-winner with 0.9 seconds left and Georgia State hung on to defeat ULM 74-73 Saturday at GSU Sports Arena. Georgia State (13-4, 4-0 Sun Belt) led by as many as 21 in the second half, but ULM (9-7, 2-2 Sun Belt) went on a 32-10 run to take a one-point lead with 5.5 seconds remaining. Following a GSU timeout, Simonds got the ball off the inbound and drove into the lane, laying it in and avoiding the upset. Simonds led all scorers with 28 points on 11-of-24 shooting, while senior Devin Mitchell continued his hot hand with 16 points, including four 3-pointers.
Texas State 70, Appalachian State 69
BOONE, N.C. – Both Tre'Larenz Nottinghamand Nijal Pearson scored 16 points apiece as the Texas State men's basketball team held on for a 70-69 against Appalachian State Saturday afternoon in the Holmes Center. With the win, it is the second time in three years that TXST has sweep the Carolina road trip.
UTA 61, Coastal Carolina 58
CONWAY, S.C. – Radshad Davis hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds remaining Saturday afternoon to give the UT Arlington men's basketball team (6-11, 2-2 Sun Belt Conference) a 61-58 road win over Coastal Carolina (7-9, 1-3 Sun Belt) to complete a weekend road league sweep for the Mavericks.
Little Rock 91, South Alabama 62
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Four Trojans finished in double figures, led by 22 points from Deondre Burns, as Little Rock raced out to an early lead and never looked back, routing South Alabama 91-62 Saturday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center. The win is Little Rock's second-straight Sun Belt victory, improving to 2-2 in league play and 7-10 overall. South Alabama drops to 9-8 on the year and matches Little Rock's 2-2 Sun Belt record.

JONESBORO, Ark. – Troy senior BJ Miller dropped a career-high 21 points in the 90-85 overtime nail-biting win over Arkansas State in Sun Belt Conference men's basketball action on Saturday evening inside of First National Bank Arena.
Louisiana 87, Georgia Southern 85

It was quite the homecoming for Louisiana's JaKeenan Gant. Playing a half-hour from his hometown of Springfield, Ga., Gant scored a game-high 22 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out a career-best five assists and blocked five shots – including a key rejection in the final seconds – to help Louisiana claim an 87-85 victory over Georgia Southern in a Sun Belt Conference game on Saturday at Hanner Fieldhouse.
