STATESBORO, Ga. – Tookie Brown tallied 14 points and eight assists, and Georgia Southern shot 56 percent in the game to hold off South Alabama for a 75-65 Sun Belt men's basketball victory Wednesday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Georgia State 77, Troy 63
ATLANTA – D’Marcus Simonds scored a game-high 27 points, helping Georgia State to a 77-63 victory over Troy on Wednesday at GSU Sports Arena. Simonds shot 9-for-19 from the floor, becoming Georgia State’s all-time leader in career made field goals. He also hit five 3-pointers, while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out six assists.
