– Zac Cuthbertson led five Coastal Carolina players in double digits with 24 points as the Chanticleers ran their consecutive win streak to five games with a 96-79 win over the Ragin' Cajuns.

– Playing on the road in front of the largest crowd in Strahan Arena history, facing a team picking up votes in the national polls and receiving not one, but two, game-extending contested jumpers as part of a career night from Brian Warren, UTA made another resounding statement Saturday by knocking off Texas State in double overtime, 84-77.

South Alabama 81, Troy 75

– Trhae Mitchell scored 17 points and dished five assists, Josh Ajayi added 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and South Alabama rallied to beat Troy 81-75 on Saturday night. John Pettway and Kory Holden scored 14 points apiece and Rodrick Sikes added 12 for the Jaguars (11-11, 4-5 Sun Belt), who made 12 of 17 3-pointers, led by Holden's four, and 15 of 21 free throws.
